Our client is a worldwide leading Fire & Security systems manufacturer. They are looking to employ a Strategic Account Manager to be based in Singapore, South East Asia.

The Role:

The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) develops and executes strategic account plans leveraging input and capabilities from Sales Support Resources, Products and specialists. Owns and grows business within assigned accounts, increases market share. Utilises proven selling strategies, sales tools to create opportunities within assigned accounts. Drives sales at each account to deliver individual targets and focuses on cross selling.

The main tasks include:

Within an international sales team covering 40 countries, you will cover the geographical scope of South East Asia. Your main missions will be amongst others:

Develop and execute strategic account plans leveraging input and capabilities from Sales Support Resources and ProductsOwn and grow business within assigned accounts, increase our market share.Utilise proven selling strategies, sales tools, and insights to create opportunities within assigned accounts.Utilise insights and facilitate workshops to uncover clients’ needs and differentiate the companyDrive sales at each account to deliver individual targets and focus on cross selling.Lead and own the planning and execution of strategy in collaboration with Sales Support Teams and Sales TeamsCoordinate Account strategies with Dealer Business Managers to avoid overlapConsistently leverage the use of CRM to manage performance and communicate with teamAny other duty required by the evolution of the sales activity in the assigned marketEstablish and ensure a good collaboration with all internal support and cross border sales teams.

Personal Qualities/Job Essentials:

Level of education: University degree mandatory, ideally Master in Business administration.Fluent Written and spoken English is a must. Additional foreign languages will be highly valued.Experience within International organizations. A professional experience abroad will be valued.Ability to build long-term working relationships with highly diverse functions in customers’ organization (purchasing, facility management, general direction etc.), specifiers (Achitects & Designers), marketing and product experts and other relevant partners and dealers as part of a complex sales approachStrong analytical and listening skillsFamiliar with statistical and financial dataProficiency and passion in use of IT supporting tools such as CRM, Outlook calendar, tablets, smartphones, webinars, living on video applications, virtual meeting tools, business applicationsStrong oral and written presentation skills, and interpersonal skills.Good level of organisation and time managementAutonomy, adaptability, commitment and team playing qualities will be highly valued.
