Position Objective: 

To support the configuration and maintenance of the PeopleSoft HR system.

Client Service Objectives:

•Consistently deliver high quality services on time, with a focus on responsiveness, organisation, efficiency and helpfulness.
•Assist in identifying and implementing ways to develop and deliver improvements to the service provided.

Position Expectations:

•Work with Lead Data Architect to map the data in and used by PeopleSoft and associated systems (Taleo, Orbit)
•Consider GDPR implications of all data integrations and changes
•To specify, code and implement changes to the PeopleSoft system
•To plan and manage the deployment of upgrades to PeopleSoft
•To manage the HR Data team
•Executing the data cleansing/maintenance strategy
•Overseeing the quality of the data held in the PeopleSoft system
•Contributing to and coordinating training sessions and training materials to help train users of the PeopleSoft system
•Working with key client stakeholders to provide the information and system capabilities they require
•Work with Lead Data Architect to provide downstream systems with the data feeds they need

•Ability to work with HR Business Partners and other related functional leads to ensure PeopleSoft is fully and accurately integrated with the firm’s related applications
•Verbal and written communication skills and be able to create technical design documents. 
•Ability to logically troubleshoot technical problems. 
•Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
•Knowledge of software development tools, practices, and lifecycle methodologies.
•Working knowledge of Application Packages, Objects, Classes, Properties and Methods.

Previous Experience:

•Experience in managing the configuration and maintenance of PeopleSoft (to be clear: not SAP HR or Oracle HR – we need actual PeopleSoft expertise)
•Experience of building organisation structures, posts, roles and absence management modules in PeopleSoft
•Experience of configuring and deploying Self Service elements of PeopleSoft
•Technical PeopleSoft experience with Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, PeopleTools and strong SQL.
•Application development experience working with PeopleSoft HR applications, with good functional knowledge.
•Thorough knowledge of the key elements of the PeopleSoft schema, and is able to ensure that third party interfaces are API compliant
•Understanding of Record/Page/Component PeopleCode and the Component Processor. 
•Experience with PeopleSoft HR v9.1.
•Experience of migrating to v9.2.
•Experience developing application customizations, interfaces and reports.
•Understanding of the systems development life cycle.

Professional/Educational Qualification: 

Preferably a graduate or of graduate caliber
